Introducing The Speakeasy Baking Co

The Speakeasy Baking Co is an old world style mom and pop bakery, set for today's busy modern world.  What began as a three generations old, closely held secret chocolate chip cookie recipe has blossomed into a cache of original handcrafted recipes from a husband and wife team who have served this community for more than two decades.

Small Batch, Big Flavor

Authentic, hardened practices combine with honest, real ingredients to produce the finest quality cookies imaginable. Real butter, real sugars, and real eggs are the foundation of our recipes. No gimmicks here - just great taste that puts a smile on your face. 

Certified Cottage Bakery

As a proud cottage bakery, we invite the health department into our home kitchen for an inspection as our season begins each year. We begin our public availability by serving at some of your most memorable events, such as birthdays, weddings, and baby showers. We also showcase your hard work by serving your esteemed guests during press conferences, corporate events, charity events and fundraisers. You may find us at regional pop-ups and residencies as well, particularly during spring and autumn seasons. 

Home Delivery

"How can we find you?" This is probably our number one question that we hear after someone tries our cookies for the first time. We began offering delivery via 3rd party delivery as a weekly option early in the summer of 2024. Our data showed us great promise, but also the importance of developing delivery our way. 

Our pledge is to offer delivery weekly, as often as possible. (There are weeks that we are unavailable due to previously scheduled private events.) The usual schedule will allow pre-orders to begin Monday mornings, with home delivery on Thursday evenings (along with next morning (i.e. Friday) pick-up via The Playhouse in downtown Brentwood).

By maintaining relationships with a close network of private drivers, we can expand the delivery circle that was limited far too much by 3rd party apps. We now offer delivery to residences in the cities of Oakley, Brentwood, Antioch, and Pittsburg; along with the local communities of Bethel Island, Knightsen, Byron, and Discovery Bay.

Sweet Nights Menu

Menu options may change from week to week, as seasonal flavors are retired or new flavors debut. Most choices will be available as our "market sized cookie," which is packaged individually and weighs in at minimum of 4.5 ounces. Make sure to check the listings thoroughly, because special options have been known to pop up when you least expect them!

Delivery is offered to local, far east bay communities for a flat fee of $5, with no minimum purchase requirements. Please verify your zip code in your shopping cart before proceeding to the payment menu. Free pickup is offered in downtown Brentwood at The Playhouse.
